Job Descriptions
Teen After School Center (TASC)
· Staff hours: Mon-Thu 3pm-7pm (16 hours/week) during school year
· Planning time
Director
· Duties
o Track teens’ progress using specified indicators (grades, attendance, etc.)
o Recruit students and volunteers to participate
o Monitor parent, volunteer, and school participation
o Plan and oversee implementation of curriculum with Program Coordinator
o Promote program within local congregations and community
o Attend specified trainings from DJJ as required
o Liaise with DJJ and other assisting organizations
o Coordinate with Harvest Hope to fulfill Kids Café requirements
o Plan snacks/meals
o Obtain and manage inventory of supplies and food items
o Manage budget
o Submit required reports and paperwork to DJJ
o Provide regular reports and feedback to Advisory Board
o Attend Advisory Board meetings as needed
o Perform other duties as required
